The Netherlands have unveiled their brand new kit for the T20 World Cup 2024 ahead of the mega event. As always, the Dutch have opted for an orange kit. However, their color combination this year reminded some fans of SunRisers Hyderabad's (SRH) IPL kit.
The Dutch team have an orange-dominant kit with a blueish strip in the middle. In the middle part of that strip, 'NETHERLANDS' is written in white color. The logos of KNCB and T20 World Cup 2024 can be seen on either side of the chest. There is also a touch of blue on each end of the sleeve.

SunRisers Hyderabad had a similar kit in the 2022 edition of the IPL. SRH had a combination of orange and black instead of orange and blue, but the design was quite similar.
Reacting to this kit, a fan wrote on X:
"Looks like SRH jersey."
A popular meme account on X joked that the kit design was similar to the Indian Oil logo.
"Same same but different," the memer joked while posting a logo of the oil company.
Netherlands find themselves in a 'group of death' at T20 World Cup 2024
The Dutch team punched above its weight in the T20 World Cup 2022 and beat the higher-ranked South African team. Even in the 2023 ODI World Cup, the Netherlands registered wins over Bangladesh and South Africa.
ICC has placed the Dutch in Group D for the T20 World Cup 2024 alongside South Africa and Bangladesh.
Two other teams, Sri Lanka and Nepal, are also a part of the group. Considering how the Netherlands have performed in the recent past, it is tough to predict which two teams will progress from this group.
