Maharashtra Premier League 2024 Top run-getters and wicket-takers after Kolhapur Tuskers vs Chhatrapati Sambhaji Kings (Updated) ft. Nihal Tusamad

Maharashtra Premier League on June 20, Thursday, witnessed the Eliminator clash between Kolhapur Tuskers and Chhatrapati Sambhaji Kings. Chhatrapati Sambhaji Kings won the toss and elected to field first.

Siddharth Mhatre scored 64 runs facing 36 balls, smashing three boundaries and four sixes. Shrikant Mundhe provided a supporting finisher’s role, scoring 24 off 18 balls and taking the Kolhapur Tuskers to a total of 173/10. Rajvardhan Hanargekar was the standout bowler, ending with figures 4/29.

In response, the Chhatrapati Sambhaji Kings struggled with the bat, losing wickets at regular intervals. Digvijay Patil gave hope but didn't last long from his effort of 34 from 22 balls. Onkar Khatpe stood tall, playing a sensible 43 off 44 ball knock but without support, he couldn’t lead the team to the Semis.

Atharva Dakway ended with figures of 3/22 and Nihal Tusamad supported him with figures of 2/25 from their four overs and three overs quota, respectively. Rahul Tripathi’s Kolhapur won the match by 32 runs and moved into the Qualifier 2 to face Eagle Nashik Titans on June 21.

Arshin Kulkarni fills the seventh position with 283 runs from 11 games at a strike rate of 156.35. Azim Kazi takes the eighth position, smashing 281 runs from 11 encounters at an average of 31.22. Atharva Kale and Mandar Bhandari finish with ninth and tenth position, scoring 269 and 265 runs, respectively.
