Sher-e-Punjab T20 Cup 2024 Points Table: Updated Standings after Intersoft Titans vs JK Super Strikers, Match 16

Match No.15 of the Sher-e-Punjab T20 2024 saw the Trident Stallions cross swords with the Royal Phantoms on Monday, June 17. The other game of the day was contested between the Intersoft Titans and the JK Super Strikers.

After beating the Phantoms, Trident Stallions retained their top position on the Sher-e-Punjab T20 2024 points table with eight points.

The JK Super Strikers, after their last-ball victory over the Intersoft Titans, moved a place up, taking the second place. They now have eight points and are only behind the Stallions on net run rate (NRR).

With three wins and six points, the BLV Blasters slipped from the second to the third position in the points table. Meanwhile, Agri Kings Knights, also with six points and a NRR of -0.691, remain in the fourth position.

After another defeat, the Royal Phantoms also remain in the fifth place with two points and an NRR of -0.777.

Facing their fifth defeat of the tournament, the Intersoft Titans continue to remain at the bottom of the table with two points.

Stallions continue dominant run, Super Strikers seal thrilling win in Sher-e-Punjab T20 2024

Royal Phantoms batted first in the 15th match of the Sher-e-Punjab T20 2024, putting up a total of 148/6 on the board from their 20 overs. Jaskaranvir Singh Pual led the charge with a 73-run knock at the top. Anshul Chaudhary scored 23 runs. However, the rest of the batters failed to contribute.

Gurnoor Brar and Ramandeep Singh picked up two wickets apiece for the Stallions. Shubham Rana chipped in with a wicket as well.

It turned out to be a comfortable chase for the Stallions. Skipper Prabhsimran Singh steadied the ship with an unbeaten 59. Abhay Chaudhary (40) and Ramandeep (28*) ensured there was no trouble as they got over the line with 7 wickets and 12 deliveries to spare.

In the next match, the Intersoft Titans accumulated a challenging total of 175/5. Skipper Vishwanath Singh scored a gritty half-century (54). However, a 47-ball 89 from Pukhraj Mann propelled them to a healthy score.

Sahil Khan was the star of the show with the ball for the Strikers, picking up three wickets. Shahbaz Singh Sandhu claimed a wicket as well.

The Strikers, led by brilliant knocks from Shivein Rakheja (71 off 49) and Deepin Chitkara (32* off 18), managed to scale down the target off the final delivery with just two wickets remaining.

Emanjot Singh Chahal (3) and Prabhkirat Singh (2) picked the most wickets for the Titans, however, in vain.
