Virat Kohli posted an Instagram story on Wednesday, July 10, of his picture with the T20 World Cup trophy. The Men in Blue created history in Barbados on June 29, when they defeated South Africa in the final of the ICC event by seven runs.

Virat Kohli had had a dismissal tournament until then, having scored only 75 runs at an average of 10.71. However, he was on fire on the big day, playing a crucial innings of 76 runs off 59 balls to help India post a decent score.

Indian bowlers did their job perfectly as the Men in Blue ended their 11-year drought of an ICC trophy.
