A minimum of five overs per side needed to be bowled for a match to be constituted as complete.

Further, in case the semifinal is tied, a Super Over will be played to determine the winner. If weather conditions prevent the Super Over from being completed, India will progress to the final, having finished higher in the Super 8 stage.
