Unfortunately, he was ruled out of the remainder of the IPL 2022 season due to a hip injury. The Australian backed out of IPL 2023 to focus on international cricket. With that move, Cummins also took a pay cut of INR 7.5 crores for that season.

Cummins returned to the IPL saga in the IPL 2023 mini-auction. The Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) roped him in for an astounding price of INR 20.50 crores. He was considered the highest purchase in IPL history until the Knight Riders cashed in on his Australian teammate Mitchell Starc for INR 24.75 crores.

Pat Cummins T20 League Contract

Pat Cummins has only played a handful of matches in the Big Bash League (BBL). He made his BBL debut with the Perth Scorchers in the BBL 2013-14 season and was signed by the Sydney Thunder in the next edition. He represented the franchise for three seasons in 2014-14, 2016-17 and 2018-19.

According to the official website of the Sydney Thunder, Cummins was drafted as a ‘Marquee Supplementary’ player for the 13th edition of the BBL. He also signed a four-year contract with the San Francisco Unicorns in Major League Cricket in June 2024.
