Ashwin’s 4/11 is the best ever performance by an Indian bowler in T20 internationals

Ravichandran Ashwin’s bowling figures of 4 for 11 in the World Twenty20 match against Australia was the best performance by an Indian bowler in T20Is.

With 160 to chase, Australians were dismissed for just 86, their lowest total in World T20, with Indian bowling tightening screws around their batsmen.

Ashwin picked 4 wickets for just 11 runs, continuing his good form as he picked up his second consecutive Man of the Match award, overshadowing Harbhajan’s figures of 4/12.
