The franchise scripted history during the summer of 2024, as it overcame the Mumbai Indians Women team in the Eliminator and the consistency of the Meg Lanning-led Delhi Capitals Women in the summit clash to clinch its maiden WPL title. From February 14 to March 15, 2025, the defending champions looked forward to retain their crown and further establish their legacy as one of the most established sides in the WPL.
