About
The Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women's franchise is owned by United Spirits, which also owns the men's franchise in the Indian Premier League. The Bengaluru-based franchise is led by Smriti Mandhana and coached by Luke Williams.
History

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women racked up the services of Indian top-order batter Smriti Mandhana for INR 3.4 crores in the inaugural Women's Premier League auction. The franchise had an underwhelming outing in the first season, as the Mandhana-led unit failed to make it to the knockout stages.
However, things turned for the better in WPL 2024, as Smriti and Co. scripted history by becoming the first Bangalore-based franchise to win a T20 league. The Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women defeated the inaugural champions, Mumbai Indians Women, in the Eliminator before overcoming the Meg Lanning-led Delhi Capitals Women to clinch their maiden WPL title. Australian all-rounder Ellyse Perry and Indian cricketer Shreyanka Patil were awarded the orange and purple caps, respectively, for their stellar performances.
Unfortunately, RCB-W failed to defend their title in WPL 2025. The Smriti Mandhana-led unit failed to qualify for the playoffs, finishing at the fourth spot in the points table after managing just three wins in eight outings.
