Shikhar Dhawan IPL teams from 2008-23
One of the most consistent players in IPL history Shikhar Dhawan has started his IPL career with Delhi Daredevils from its very first edition. After a 300 runs season the very next year Delhi bizarrely traded Shikhar to the Mumbai Indians ahead of IPL 2009.
Dejected by the abysmal returns, Dhawan decided to move to the Deccan Chargers in 2011, where his fortunes changed. He scored 400+ runs in the next couple of seasons, thereby becoming the mainstay of a struggling batting unit. After two seasons Deccan Chargers were eventually renamed Sunrisers Hyderabad. SRH was Shikhar’s home for six years until he returned to his initial den in 2019 which by then had started being called Delhi Capitals. After spending three successful years for DC he moved to PBKS and now he is the captain of the team.
