Suryakumar Yadav is an Indian cricketer. Popularly known as SKY, he is a right-handed batter is known for being a power-hitter. However, Suryakumar Yadav tasted success late in his career.
He made his Ranji Trophy debut in 2010 but earned his first international cap in 2021. He initially burst onto the scene after being picked by IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders. But he proved his mettle and bating prowess during four golden years with Mumbai Indians starting in 2018, during which they won the IPL title twice. He contributed to the Mumbai franchise’s success with his 1700-plus runs at a strike rate of around 140.

Suryakumar Yadav has played only three innings where he got to bat against the Pakistani team. In those few matches, the 32-year-old has scored a total of 42 runs, averaging 14 and striking the ball at 116.66.
Interestingly, Suryakumar Yadav has played all the three matches in against Pakistan in the UAE. He played a solitary game against the Men in Green in 2021 during the T20 World Cup and then two games in 2022 during the Asia Cup Group Stage and the Super 4s.
In the very first T20I match he played against Pakistan, he could manage a score of 11 comprising one four and one six. The remainder of his runs against Pakistan came when India locked horns with their arch-rivals in the Asia Cup 2022.
