Hassan could not pick up more wickets in the tournament but maintained an economy rate of less than six. He was the most economical Afghan bowler at the mega event.

Adam Zampa was the second-highest wicket-taker in ICC T20 World Cup 2021. He played a massive role in Australia's triumph, picking up 13 wickets in seven matches.
Captain Aaron Finch picked Zampa as his Player of the Tournament. The leg-spinner had the best figures by any bowler in T20 World Cup 2021, and he undoubtedly performed beyond everyone's expectations.
