Despite the fact that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has been plagued by delays, it remains one of Rocksteady Studios' major new titles for 2023. The creator of the Batman Arkham series has moved their focus away from the Caped Crusader and onto a motley crew of criminals. Kill the Justice League will deploy Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, and King Shark to take down a corrupted team of brainwashed DC heroes.
What is Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League about?
The game takes place five years following the conclusion of Batman: Arkham Knight, in the universe founded by the Batman: Arkham trilogy. Amanda Waller forms the Suicide Squad out of Arkham Asylum convicts Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, and King Shark for a covert operation in Metropolis.
Only when they arrive in the city do they realize the gravity of the situation: Brainiac has infiltrated Earth and begun brainwashing its inhabitants, including Justice League members Superman, The Flash, Green Lantern, and Batman, with Wonder Woman the only visible member who is not under Brainiac's control.
It leaves the Suicide Squad to save the world by rescuing the Justice League from Brainiac's influence and stopping Brainiac before he conquers Metropolis and, eventually, the entire world.

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League gameplay
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is set in an open-world Metropolis, similar to Rocksteady's Arkham City on a grander scale. This open-world concept should provide plenty of opportunities for exploration. Thanks to the trailer, we already know that gamers will be able to play the game solo or in multiplayer mode.
Solo players can switch between members of the squad as they like, with uncontrolled team members managed by AI to play alongside you. You will, however, require an internet connection for this. Each of the four playable characters (Harley Quinn, Deadshot, King Shark, and Captain Boomerang) has a "unique moveset" and "advanced traversal skills." While these specific skills and actions have not been revealed, we did catch a glimpse of each of the anti-heroes' distinct playstyles in the gameplay clip shown at The Game Awards 2021.
