The highest-rated player in NBA 2K25 is Nikola Jokic. This comes as no surprise because he demonstrated a stellar performance last season. He had an average of 26.4 points per game with a 35.9 3-point percentage.
He is closely followed by Luka Donic. Both are rated similarly but Jokic takes the lead because of his achievements. The Dallas Mavericks shooting guard played 70 games last season in which he maintained an average of 33.9 points with 38.2 3-point percentage.
The third place is occupied by Giannis Antetokounmpo who is one of the best players on the court. He played 73 games last season in which he maintained an average of 35.2 points with a 27.4 3-point percentage.
The top ten further features some big names like Shai-Gilgeous Alexander, Giannis, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Steph Curry. These are all monsters on the court and occupy important roles for their teams.
The list shows that not all players got upgrades in their ratings. Some saw a dip in their overall numbers based on their performance last season. Not everyone performed according to expectations, and therefore, saw a reduction compared to their rating last season.
This time Jayson Tatum, the 8th-ranked player in the table, is featured on the cover of the Standard Edition 2K25. To this, he expressed that he was honored. He said that he played the 2K series growing up throughout his childhood and it was his dream to feature on the cover. 2K has also included Tatum-themed goodies that players get when buying the special editions of the game.
