The 2024 Formula 1 Season is going to be the longest in Formula 1’s history with 24 races. This season is set to start on the 29th of February with the Bahrain Grand Prix and ends on the 8th of December with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

This calendar sees the return of the fan-favorite Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai, which has not been held since COVID-19. The calendar has the same races as the 2023 season, including the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix. The race was canceled in 2023 due to the extreme floods in the Imola region, where the race takes place.

Another difference is that the Qatar Grand Prix has become the season's penultimate race. The Japanese Grand Prix has also moved ahead to April from its usual October race weekend. Stefano Domenicali, Formula 1 CEO, has also revealed in an interview that the number of sprint races will stay the same and only 6 sprint races will happen in 2024. 2024 Formula 1 Schedule: Race, Date and Venue

The 2024 Formula 1 season has been underway since 29th February. The first two races of the season were held on Saturday instead of the conventional race day- Sunday.

 A. Franco Colapinto and Liam Lawson are the newest drivers racing in Formula 1. They replaced Logan Sargeant and Daniel Ricciardo respectively.

 A. Lewis Hamilton is confirmed to drive for Mercedes for the 2024 season. He will be racing for Scuderia Ferrari in the 2025 season.
