Lewis Hamilton, born on January 7, 1985, in Stevenage, England, is probably the most successful and recognized driver in Formula 1 history. He has won seven World Championships, the same as the legendary Michael Schumacher. He has been racing for over 15 years and currently races for the Ferrari Formula One team. On his path to creating numerous records, such as the most pole positions in F1 history at 104, and 103 wins. Consistency at this level has ensured that he continues to be a global icon.

As of 2025, Hamilton remains in the top tier of grid drivers, effectively competing against Max Verstappen, Lando Norris, and Charles Leclerc. Though he has not won another championship since 2020, his driving form remains strong. In 2025, his Ferrari Formula One team will fight to close the performance gap that it witnessed Red Bull Racing enjoy for several successive seasons and Mclaren's current dominance.

2008 First Championship with McLaren

Lewis Hamilton secured his first World Championship in 2008 in only his second season in Formula 1 with McLaren-Mercedes. He managed to overtake Felipe Massa in what is considered one of the most dramatic season close-ups in the history of F1 at the Brazilian GP.
