LEGO Fortnite is a survival crafting game within Fortnite that was released on December 7th, 2023 as part of the multiverse update. Players must explore vast procedurally generated landscapes, collect resources to craft items and build their village. The vast landscape is filled with a host of enemies that they can defeat and villagers who can be recruited to expand their settlements.
LEGO Fortnite can be played solo or with a group of up to seven friends by sharing the world and giving access to it. Players must create a new world, build their village, and turn it into an empire. LEGO Fortnite offers the following game modes:
Cozy: Relaxing and casual gameplay with easier combat and enemies along with endless respawn.
Survival: Normal mode where players must build, gather, and battle enemies as they explore the vast world and build their village. Respawn is available.
Sandbox: Spawn on the sandbox mode with unlimited resources, items, and the option to turn off mobs that players can use to explore the vast items, features, and activities in the world of LEGO Fortnite.
Expert: Increased survival difficulty with the introduction of stronger Storm-Wild enemies and harder-to-gather resources with no respawn. Elimination would result in restarting the game.
LEGO Fortnite features a world inspired by LEGO bricks, items, and resources. Players can explore these endless worlds with their friends by sharing the world key from the settings of each map. LEGO Fortnite also transforms the player’s Outfits into LEGO-themed Outfits. These styles are known as LEGO styles although this is not supported for all Outfits. As of the v30.20 update, over 1600 Outfits have LEGO Styles and support over 400 Emotes that can be used within the game mode
LEGO Fortnite also has its own series of daily, weekly, and season quests that can help players gain significant XP and contribute toward leveling up the Battle Pass.
All LEGO Fortnite maps are procedurally generated and no two maps are similar. However, players can override default World Seeds by choosing a number between 1 and 2147483647 to spawn randomly generated worlds.
LEGO Fortnite also has its own LEGO Pass that allows players to unlock exclusive rewards, builds, and items. Players can also purchase a host of LEGO-inspired Outfits, builds, and items from the Item Shop. The latest LEGO Pass featured a collaboration with the Star Wars franchise and players could experience Star Wars-themed items, resources, and weapons across the different game modes.
