Fallout London is a DLC-like mod for Fallout 4. Its size is equal to that of Fallout 4 itself, so you can treat it as a standalone game. Fallout London, as the name suggests, moves away from the United States and takes place in London. The game is free to play and available on the GOG store, but you need to own Fallout 4 to play it.
As this mod is an add-on to Fallout 4, it uses the same settings as the main game. So yes, you can play Fallout London using your controller. The main game supports a controller and thus it is highly unlikely that Team FOLON will remove it.
Best controller settings for Fallout London
Mainly two types of controllers are available on the market: the base models (Xbox Wireless/Sony DualSense) and the premium models (Xbox Elite 2/Sony DualSense Edge). We will be listing the best settings you can use for each.
If you had a personal best controller setting in Fallout 4, you can go ahead with it. Fallout 4 and Fallout London share controller actions, so they will be the same for both games. But if you don't have any personal controller settings, you can follow this to map the controller buttons accordingly.
Xbox Wireless controller
Use the following settings on Xbox Wireless controllers:
- Set the LB to VATS
- RB to Bash/Power Attack (hold) Grenade
- LT to Aim/Block
- RT to Attack
- Back to Pause
- Start to Pip-Boy
- LS to Move
- RS to Look
- LS(press and hold) to Sprint
- RS(press and hold) to Switch POV
- Y to Jump
- B to Sneak
- X to Reload or Ready/Put Away
- A to Activate
- D-pad to favorites.
You can follow the same for a Sony DualSense controller by corresponding the buttons on an Xbox controller with a Sony DualSense controller.
Xbox Elite 2 controller
The Xbox Elite Series 2 controller has additional paddle buttons at the back, so you get four extra buttons to assign actions. Use the following for those paddle buttons:
- Assign Left Paddle 1 to Follower Attack
- Left Paddle 2 to Follower Stop
- Right Paddle 1 to Follower Follow Me
- Right Paddle 2 to Follower Move
The button configuration of the other buttons will be the same as that of an Xbox controller. For Sony's DualSense Edge map the buttons to the same actions as those of the Xbox Elite 2.
These are the best settings that you can use for your controllers when playing Fallout London. In the end, however, it all comes down to personal preference. If you prefer a controller setting that is different from ours, you should go ahead with yours. Enjoying the game and experiencing the story is the ultimate priority.
