Silverstone is often dubbed as the Motorsports Valley in the world of automobile racing. The most successful British driver of all time in Formula 1 and the record holder for most wins and championships in the sport, Lewis Hamilton, is the best driver at Silverstone. He has won the British GP a total of eight times in his career. He won the race in 2008 and then a series of races from 2014 to 2021, with the only exception being 2018. However, Ferrari is the most successful team at Silverstone with 18 wins.
