About ECN Czech Super Series
European Cricket Network and Czech Cricket have joined forces to organise Czech Super Series 2020. It will be a massive event with 16 teams and 40 T10 matches. The ECN Czech Super Series T10 league will commence on June 13. The Series will conclude with “Finals Day” on July 12 in the Czech capital city of Prague. The matches will be played over five weekends. This new Super Series will not replace the already existing Czech T20 League.

The COVID-19 pandemic has seen the cricket programme decimated in all parts of the world. The situation in the Czech Republic has improved a lot in the last few weeks and the country is set to bring live cricketing action to the world. The ECN and Czech Cricket Union have stressed on ensuring the safety of everyone concerned. A lot of precautionary measures have been arranged to ensure a safe tournament. The League is expected to provide long-term benefits for cricket in the small European nation. The academy players all around the Czech Republic will gain valuable experience and it will also help in introducing new clubs.
Teams and Squads
Czech T10 League will be a set of four separate tournaments. Each tournament will feature four teams. Winners from each of these four tournaments will fight it out for the ultimate title.
Group 1: Bohemian CC, Prague Barbarian Visigoths, Prague CC King, United CC
Group 2: Prague CC Knights, Prague Spartans Vanguards, Vinohrady Biancos, Vnohrady Rossos
Group 3: Budejovice Barracudas CC, Prague Barbarians Vandals, Prague CC Rooks, Prague Spartans Mobilizers
Group 4: Brno Raptors, Brno Raiders, Brno Rangers, Moravian CC
The Super Series will feature players from the Czech Men’s national team like Sudesh Wickramasekara who will play for Prague CC Kings. He jointly holds the record for fastest ever T20I hundred off 35 balls along with David Miller and Rohit Sharma.
