Six teams namely - Bokaro Blasters, Dhanbad Dynamos, Dumka Daredevils, Jamshedpur Jugglers, Ranchi Raiders and Singhbhum Strikers will participate in the Jharkhand T20 2022.
Jharkhand has given many top-quality cricketers to India, the biggest one of them is MS Dhoni, who is a former World Cup winning captain. Competitions like Jharkhand T20 League will provide good exposure to the young talents in Jharkhand and showcase their talent in the T20 format.
History
The 2021 edition of the Jharkhand T20 League was a success. Organized in a bio-bubble, the competition featured many exciting matches. Bokaro Blasters and Dhanbad Dynamos had qualified for the event’s summit clash, where Bokaro defeated Dhanbad to win the championship.
Jharkhand T20 2022 Format
The format of the matches in the Jharkhand T20 will be of 20-overs-a-side. Each team will get 20 overs to bat in a match. The team with the highest aggregate of runs will win.
Speaking about the tournament format, all six teams will play against each other twice, meaning each team will play ten league matches. The top 4 teams will progress to the semifinals. The winner of the two semifinals will play the summit clash.
Jharkhand T20 2022 Venues
Keeping the travel restrictions in mind, the entire Jharkhand T20 2022 tournament will happen at the JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi. There will be two matches daily in the league round, with the same venue playing host to both games.
