About LIV Golf Dallas
LIV Golf is a professional men's golf tournament, just like PGA, though it is pretty new compared to PGA. LIV Golf was launched in 2022 and gained traction for both the right and wrong causes; it has quite an interesting format, but its financing and impact on the golf scene caused quite an uproar. The LIV Golf Dallas is one of the tournaments hosted by the LIV.
The LIV Golf hosts various events throughout the season. It has 14 events per season. Two titles are at stake per session: the Individual and Team Championship. The individual championship format is the golfer with the most points throughout the individual championship wins at the end of the season. At the same time, the Team Championship winner gets decided based on the knockout format, which is a blend of match and stroke play.

The LIV Golf Dallas is scheduled to take place at the Maridoe Golf Club in Carrollton, Texas, from the 20th of September to the 22nd of September, 2024, and it will be a Team Championship.
This year, the tournament has 13 teams competing against each other at the course on Maridoe Golf Club for a $50 million purse and the champion trophy. Golf enthusiasts can expect to see 14 major champions in the field as well as the biggest names in the golfing world right now, such as Brooks Koepka, Phil Michelson, Sergio Garcia, Dustin Johnson, Talor Gooch, Louis Oosthuizen, and several more.
Though LIV Golf Dallas is not only an ordinary golf tournament, golf spectators will get a chance to enjoy performances by big musicians. For instance, Bailey Zimmerman will perform right after the semi-final on Saturday. On Sunday, DJ Martin Garrix will be closing the weekend after the Championship ceremony (It is to be noted these concerts are only included when purchasing VIP tickets).
The LIV Golf Dallas 2023 Champions
Last year, the Crushers GC, led by Bryson DeChambeau, won the LIV Dallas Team Championship; his team consisted of Paul Casey, Charles Howell III, and Anirban Lahiri, secured their second consecutive title, having won the previous year in Miami.
The team won by two strokes over the team Range Goats GC. This year, Crushers GC has been doing brilliantly, as they secured several wins in Jeddah and Hong Kong, which automatically places them at the top of the standings with 105.50 points!
