About Kroger Queen City Championship presented by P&G

P&G presents the Kroger Queen City Championship; though it is a relatively new championship, it has gained momentum and recognition on the LPGA Tour circuit. The Kroger Queen City Championship took place for the first time in 2022, and ever since, it has been held in Cincinnati, Ohio, and it is known to host the world's best female golfers who compete against each other in this tournament. The tournament is doing brilliant for itself and is growing tremendously, as in its second year, it has increased its prize purse from $1.75 million to $2.0 million. Though it took place every year at the Kenwood Country Club, from 2024, it will be moving to the famous TPC River's Bend.

Even though it is a comparatively new tournament, it has already made its mark in the LPGA women's golf history, as it is the first-ever LPGA Tournament event to be hosted and played in southwest Ohio in over thirty years! This history was made with Ally Ewing, the professional American golfer when she claimed the first ever Kroger Queen City Championship title after a breathtaking final round, where she managed to shoot a 66 whilst maintaining the perfect streak of five straight birdies on the back nine, which led to her finally winning the tournament.

The Kroger Queen City Championship 2024

The Kroger Queen City Championship is set to take place from the 19th of September and will continue till the 22nd of 2024.
