Scotland vs Sri Lanka ODI Series 2019

The Sri Lankan Men’s National Cricket team will be touring Scotland on a two-match One-day International series. The matches will take place on 18th and 21st of May, almost a week ahead of the ICC 2019 Cricket World Cup. Both the matches would be played at the Grange Cricket Club, Edinburgh. This series is going to be part of Sri Lanka's preparation for the World tournament.

In the past, the two teams have played two ODIs against each other. In both these ODIs, Sri Lanka emerged victorious on both the occasions.

This two-match series is going to be very crucial to Sri Lanka to find their combinations right before they take on the world. Sri Lanka would be facing New Zealand for their first match in the ICC 2019 World Cup on 1st of June 2019. Also, it is going to be a good opportunity for Dimuth Karunaratne, who was named as Sri Lanka's ODI captain, replacing Lasith Malinga.
