South India Rally

The South India rally is one of the oldest running motor rally in India. It is also a round of the Indian National Rally Championship series. . The name South India Rally was so called since it traversed through Bangalore, Mysore, Coimbatore, Ooty, Kodaikanal, Kanyakumari, and Trichy in the olden days.

The rally was famous for it's Canal stage- high speed, huge dips, and big jumps previously.

The current rally will have 2 stages, within 15 kms radius of the Madras Motor Race Track (MMRT).

The 40th edition of the rally will be the inaugural round the 2018 INRC season and scheduled to take place o n the 28 and 29 of April,2018 in Chennai.
