Under 19 Warm-ups in West Indies 2019

The Under-19 teams of West Indies, England and Sri Lanka will play a tri-series in December 2019 at the Caribbean soil. This will be their last competitive series before the 2020 Under-19 World Cup in South Africa.

The Warm-Up Matches

The England U19 cricket team will warm up in WI against Antigua XI before the start of the tri-series. Both of the matches will be played at Coolidge Cricket Ground in Antigua. The first warm-up match will be on 1 December 2019 and the second one on 3 December 2019. The warm-up series is expected to get the player used to the conditions.

The Tri-series

The tri-series will see each team play three matches against the other two teams. The two teams with the most points at the end will play the final of the tri-series on 21 December 2021. This series will be the last chance for them to assess the strength of the squad in a competitive environment. It will also give the players who are relatively experienced at this level of the game to prove their caliber.
