About WWE Hall of Fame 2025

The WWE Hall of Fame is a hall of fame of Professional Wrestlers that is maintained by the WWE. Originally, the WWE Hall of Fame ceremonies were held by the WWE King of the Ring. In 1996, it was held before the Survivor Series Event. For reasons unknown, the WWE Hall of Fame went into hiatus until 2004. In 2004, as WrestleMania 20 was about to start, WWE relaunched the WWE Hall of Fame. It was not broadcast on Television. From 2015, the WWE Hall of Ceremonies was shown live on the WWE Network.
The WWE Hall of Fame initially only inducted individuals, groups, and tag teams. This was expanded to the Celebrities and the Legacy wing. After the Ultimate Warrior's Death, WWE announced the Warrior Award for individuals who exhibited strength and perseverance that embodies the spirit of the Ultimate Warrior, with the first being presented at the WWE Hall of Fame 2015 ceremony. The first recipient was a late eight-year-old fan, Connor Michalek.

Hall of Fame "Immortal Moment"

WWE added the "Immortal Moment" category to the Hall of Fame on the March 28, 2025, episode of SmackDown. This category is meant to spotlight defining, unforgettable instances in wrestling history. At WrestleMania 13, their no-disqualification submission match with Ken Shamrock as special guest referee earned its place as a moment that forever changed the business landscape.

Triple H
WWE.com confirmed Paul "Triple H" Levesque as the inaugural Hall of Fame inductee in January 2025. After a heartfelt surprise from his wife Stephanie McMahon, Shawn Michaels, and The Undertaker, the news was made shortly after. In 2019, he had already entered the Hall as a member of D-Generation X. The Chief Content Officer of the WWE has had a distinguished career that includes winning multiple world titles, winning the King of the Ring, winning two Royal Rumbles, and having memorable moments on the grandest stage of all—WrestleMania. His legacy both inside and outside the ring has solidified his place among wrestling’s elite.
Michelle McCool
WWE.com announced in February 2025 that Michelle McCool would join wrestling royalty in the WWE HOF alongside her husband, The Undertaker. She held both the WWE Women’s Championship twice and became the first-ever Divas Champion. She demonstrated unparalleled versatility and presence, beginning with her early appearances on the Diva Search before joining forces with Layla to form the pioneering LayCool duo. Her achievements speak for themselves: in 2010, the same year that WWE named her Diva of the Year, she won titles such as Woman of the Year and topped Pro Wrestling Illustrated's Female 50.
Lex Luger
In March 2025, WWE.com confirmed that Lex Luger would be part of the newest Hall of Fame class. Luger's record in the ring spans decades of dominance, earning him the moniker "The Total Package." He won numerous championships, shared the victory in the Royal Rumble, and stood out at WrestleMania. Adding to his legacy, he was once a key member of the legendary Four Horsemen—a group still regarded as one of the most iconic factions in wrestling history.
The Natural Disasters
In 2025, the Natural Disasters will officially be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. The long-awaited honor is finally given to the formidable tag team of Earthquake (the late John Tenta) and Typhoon (Fred Ottman). Ottman confirmed the news during an appearance on Sportskeeda’s WrestleBinge podcast in March 2025. They tore through WWE's tag team ranks in the early 1990s, competing with teams like Money Inc., the Legion of Doom, and the Bushwhackers. With Jimmy Hart in their corner, Earthquake and Typhoon became one of the most memorable duos in wrestling history.
