As the end of the 2024 season on the DP World Tour approaches, anticipation is growing over how the Race to Dubai will be defined. The top 10 non-PGA Tour players will receive their American Tour card.

With only five tournaments left on the schedule, the five players with the best chance of playing in America for the 2025 season are already emerging. Let's see who they are.

5 DP World Tour players who could win a PGA Tour card for the 2025 season

In 2023, Rasmus Hojgaard just missed out on a PGA Tour card to join his brother Nicolai. A year later, his card is all but in the bag, as are four of his colleagues:

#1 Thriston Lawrence

The South African is second in the Race to Dubai on the DP World Tour, albeit more than 1,500 points behind leader Rory McIlroy. Thriston Lawrence has yet to win in 2024, but he has five runner-up finishes and four other top-10s.

With these results, Lawrence is almost certain to be on the PGA Tour next season. He is more than 1,500 points ahead of Guido Migliozzi, who completes the group of 10 players with a chance of earning his card.

#2 Rasmus Hojgaard

The Dane is just 600 points behind Lawrence in the Race to Dubai, thanks in no small part to his spectacular victory at the Irish Open. In addition to his win in Northern Ireland, Rasmus Hojgaard has five other top-10 finishes to his name, including second place at the Ras Al Khaimah Championship.

#3 Matteo Manassero

The Italian has had a very consistent season on the DP World Tour with one win (Jonsson Workwear Open) and seven other top 10s. His most recent starts have been excellent, with a third-place finish at the Irish Open and a tie for fourth at the BMW PGA Championship.

#4 Jesper Svensson

Despite the ups and downs of his season (he missed seven cuts in 23 events), Jesper Svensson is almost certain to be on the PGA Tour in 2025. That's thanks to his victory at the Porsche Singapore Classic and three second-place finishes.

The Swede will make the jump to the American circuit in his first season as a member of the DP World Tour. He previously spent three seasons on the Challenge Tour.

#5 Niklas Norgaard

The Dane spent the first part of the season with poor results in most of his starts. That all changed when he won his first European Tour event, the British Masters, in early September.

This victory, coupled with his T7 at the BMW PGA Championship, saw him move up to 8th in the Race to Dubai and 5th in line for a PGA Tour card. Niklas Norgaard's previous best Race to Dubai finish was 77th.
