As the Masters is one of the world's most premium sporting events, it should be no surprise that tickets to the Augusta National tournament can be difficult. Like daily tournament badges, tickets for the practice round are also highly sought after and are distributed through a lottery.

You are also not allowed to apply on behalf of anybody else, sell or give away the tickets, or use from a temporary, student, second home, or company address. You can apply for every day. The applicant may only attend one of the days, though.

Practice round tickets are $75 each, plus additional shipping and handling fees, assuming you haven't broken any application regulations. $115 gets you tickets to the actual tournament. Even though giving away or selling tickets is prohibited, some do make their way into the resale market, where tickets for practice rounds can fetch up to $4,000 and those for tournament finals can fetch as much as $10,000.

Is it challenging to secure a Master's ticket?

Obtaining tickets for The Masters is the second most challenging sporting ticket purchase after getting tickets for the Super Bowl. You can purchase a ticket for as little as $75 if you are a patron or win the yearly lottery. However, few tickets are available, so many must pay thousands on the secondary market.

How much are the Masters 2024 tickets?

The original standard tickets are no longer available and have different prices depending on the day. The year prior, original standard tickets are sold through a lottery. According to a Business Insider story from the previous year, lottery tickets for practice or competition days have sold for anywhere from $100 to $140 during the last few years. An elite group also holds lifelong patron badges, but prospective recipients still need to join the waiting list.

Resale tickets are undoubtedly more costly in this instance, but they represent the last choice for individuals who wish to attend the tournament in person. The cheapest US Masters tickets on StubHub begin at $1,240 for the competition's first practice day. Similar resale ticket prices, starting at $1,244 for the same date, are available from Vivid Seats. These resale websites also provide multi-day bundles. Practice and competition days come in 2- and 4-day packages. Packages for two days start at $4,397, and those for four days start at $6,327.
