LPGA’s CPKC Women's Open 2024: Schedule, top players, prize money and more explored

The 2024 CPKC Women's Open, aka the Canadian Women's Open, is going to take place from July 25 to July 28 at the Earl Grey Golf Club in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Last year, it was won by Megan Khang, who beat Jin Young Ko in a playoff.

Last year, the purse of the event was $2.5 million but this year there's been a slight boost, and the elevated purse is $2.6 million. Out of this, the winner will receive $390,000.

Which top players will be appearing at the field of the CPKC Women's Open?

In the 50th edition of the tournament, around 157 golfers will be playing at the Earl Grey Golf Club. One of the top players in the field is Lilia Vu, who's making her first appearance since the Amundi Evian Championship, where she finished T26. The field will also have top contenders like Allisen Corpuz and Minjee Lee.

Rose Zhang has confirmed her participation at the CPKC Women's Open. Hannah Green, who won thrice in 2024 will join Zhang on the field. The tournament has also extended invitations to amateur golfers like the World Amateur Champion Melanie Green, Megan Schofill, and others.

Khang returns to the event as the defending champion, along with six other past champions.
