The PGA Tour 2024 season was filled with consistency from players like Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, and Rory McIlroy, while youngsters such as Nick Dunlap, Max Greyserman, Jake Knapp and Matthieu Pavon made a name for themselves.

Besides, many celebrities also showcased their skills at various Pro-Ams throughout the year. In this article, we take a look at the celebrities who made an impact at different Pro-Ams in 2024.


Five celebrities who made big moves at PGA Tour Pro Am

1) Tom Holland

Tom Holland was present at the BMW PGA Championship Celebrity Pro-Am and played alongside Tommy Fleetwood. He put on a good show with his two brothers to win the star-studded event at Wentworth. The Spider-Man star is a huge golf fan and holds a 2.9 handicap.


2) Andy Murray

Andy Murray ended his legendary tennis career after the Paris Olympics. A couple of months later, he made his Pro-Am debut at Wentworth, playing alongside Robert MacIntyre.

MacIntyre was impressed with his fellow countryman's game and had some kind words of praise for Murray.

"I was very impressed with his game," he said as per Sky Sports. "It was like a dream come true for me, a sporting idol of mine... a special, special day."

3) Tom Brady

Tom Brady participated in a couple of PGA Tour Pro-Ams this season. At the start of the year, he competed in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and finished T20 while partnering with Keegan Bradley.

The NFL legend also competed in the RSM Classic Pro-Am later in the season and was featured in one of the episodes of Bryson DeChambeau's Break 50.


4) Caitlin Clark

Caitlin Clark was also quite active on the golf course this year. She first played in the Annika Pro-Am alongside Annika Sorenstam and Nelly Korda. She then also competed in the PGA Tour's RSM Classic Pro-Am and received praise from the professionals.

Zach Johnson, who had also played with Clark in the 2023 John Deere Classic Pro-Am, praised the improvement in the WNBA star's game.

"She's a competitor before she is anything else," he said as per Golfweek. "I witnessed it a year-and-a-half ago when we played but I've also witnessed that she's gotten better. She's working on her game."

5) Gareth Bale

Gareth Bale is another big name who has been active on the golf course. The former Welsh captain has participated in several PGA Tour Pro-Ams since retiring from soccer. This year, he played in the BMW PGA Championship and the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.
