"He almost broke my elbow" - When Tiger Woods took a shot at David Feherty during the 2013 Farmer's Insurance Open

Tiger Woods is arguably the greatest ever to play golf and has won multiple titles over the years. Besides winning titles regularly, he has also made a name for himself with his incredible escape shots. One of those came during his successful campaign at the 2013 Farmers Insurance Open.

Woods entered the final round with the lead at the Farmers Insurance Open. After sinking a pair of pars and a birdie on the first three holes, he approached the par 4, 456-yard fourth hole. His tee shot deviated slightly right and landed in the rough after traveling nearly 300 yards.

Woods was preparing for his second shot but faced a bit of an obstacle. There was limited space to play his shot toward the green due to a tree blocking most of his view.

"If he can manage to hit the miracle shot he can cut it back onto," on-course commentator David Feherty said about the situation.

However, the veteran played a brilliant escape shot, with the ball landing just outside the green, 40 feet away from the hole.

"Doesn't get much better than that," Feherty screamed in excitement. "Heck of a shot, I tell ya. He almost broke my left elbow hitting that shot."

From there, Woods played a superb chip shot to secure another birdie for the day. Here's the clip:

Tiger Woods collected two more birdies that day before making a couple of bogeys and a double bogey in the last four holes. He eventually carded an even-par 72, but the aggregate score of 14-under was enough to beat Josh Teater and defending champion Brandt Snedeker by a four-stroke margin. This was the 23rd time he won by four or more shots on the PGA Tour.
