John Daly recently gifted Bryson DeChambeau a box of handmade cigars and shared some insights with the LIV golfer on how to win the British Open.

Bryson DeChambeau, a two-time U.S. Open champion, is also quite popular on YouTube, with over 1.32 million subscribers. Recently, he shot a "Break 50" video with two-time major champion John Daly.

On Tuesday, August 13, NUCLR Golf, a popular golf tracking handle on X, shared a video originally posted by brysondclips on TikTok, where Daly presented a handmade cigar to DeChambeau.

"I just want to say I love you, son," he said. "You may not smoke cigars, but handmade. Bring them to your friends, and there are lighters that we know, so three."

Daly won the 1995 British Open and shared his experience with DeChambeau, who has yet to win it.

"So today, I'm going to teach Bryson how to win a British Open," he said. "Three-quarter shots, and don't just let the wind be your friend because that's what Jack Nicklaus told me in '92. And I'm gonna drink because I know you're going to carry me to perfect."

Daly then opted for a long game, citing his age and health.

"That's right on the club face," Daly joked while hitting the shot. "We're shooting 47—about as many ex-wives as I've had."

The 58-year-old veteran had a few more words of wisdom for the amateurs.

"All you amateurs out there, all you want is that sound," he added. "If you get that sound, it's like the very first girl you ever dated in this world, and it's the most incredible thing in the world."

What's next for Bryson DeChambeau?

Bryson DeChambeau will next compete at the LIV Golf Greenbrier, which will take place from Friday, August 16, to Sunday, August 18, at The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia.

DeChambeau is currently eighth in the season standings with six top-10 finishes. Although he hasn’t won on the LIV Golf circuit this season, his T3 finish at Nashville has been his best result. However, his team, Crushers GC, is at the top of the team standings with two wins and two runner-up finishes.

The 30-year-old golfer has had a great season in major championships. He tied for 12th at the Masters Tournament, followed by a runner-up finish at the PGA Championship. The following month, he won the U.S. Open, beating Rory McIlroy by one stroke.
