Danny Lee, the 2023 LIV Golf Tucson winner, has committed to the Saudi-backed circuit for the 2025 season. The South Korean-born golfer has been part of LIV Golf since its second season in 2023. He finished 38th in the season standings in 2024.

However, despite being in the open zone, he secured his place on the Saudi circuit for the 2025 season by rejoining Iron Heads GC, led by Kevin Na. LIV Golf confirmed the news through their official account on X (formerly Twitter), writing:

"Signed. Sealed. Delivered. ✍️ We’re excited to announce that 2023 LIV Golf Tucson champion, Danny Lee, will be re-signing with Iron Heads GC for his 3rd season with the team! Welcome back, Danny! 💪"

In 2023, Lee competed in 13 tournaments for Iron Heads GC, finishing 29th in the standings. He claimed victory at the Tucson event and delivered solid performances, including a 24th-place finish in Singapore, 25th in Adelaide, and 32nd in Andalucía and London events.

Danny Lee returned to Iron Heads GC in 2024 and had some notable results, including a T9 finish in Adelaide, T6 in Andalucía, and T15 at Greenbrier.

LIV Golf's Thomas Pieters joins 4Aces GC for the 2025 season

Belgian golfer Thomas Pieters will continue with LIV Golf in 2025, joining Dustin Johnson's 4Aces GC. Pieters, who joined LIV Golf in 2023, finished the 2024 season in 30th place in the standings. He played his first two seasons with Bubba Watson's RangeGoats GC.

Dustin Johnson was excited to welcome Thomas Pieters to 4Aces GC for the 2025 season. Speaking via Golf Monthly, Johnson said:

"Happy to have Thomas on the team. He’s a great addition, great player and makes the team stronger. Really excited for next season."

Meanwhile, Thomas Pieters recently competed at the 2024 PIF Saudi International Championship, where he opened up about joining the new team for the next season. Speaking via LIV Golf, he said:

"DJ’s always been a fan of my game. I know that. He’s said that a couple of times. Of course, he’s very mellow about it; he’s obviously not in-your-face about it. So, you’ve got to read between the lines sometimes there.
“I think he rates me, and he knows I haven’t reached my full potential. I’ve had two rough years on LIV, but I feel like everything’s settled. I feel good. I can’t wait for next year," he added.

Pieters showcased an impressive game at the PIF Saudi International Championship, finishing in a tie for ninth place. Danny Lee also played at the tournament but struggled with his game and missed the cut.

Meanwhile, LIV golfer Joaquín Niemann delivered an outstanding performance, ultimately emerging victorious in the tournament.
