Siblings Minjee and Min Woo Lee, stars on the LPGA Tour and PGA Tour, respectively, have taken an important step in promoting the game of golf in their native Australia. The pair is hosting the Webex Players Series Perth, a tournament designed to develop young players.
The event is being held from January 9-12. As part of the activities surrounding the event, Minjee and Min Woo Lee held a clinic for junior players from Western Australia.
The PGA of Australia released a video of Minjee and Min Woo Lee on X interacting with the junior players, giving them tips and demonstrating the execution of various golf shots. They can also be seen evaluating the performance of the junior players.
The Webex Players Series Perth is co-sanctioned by two local circuits, the Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia (male) and the WPGA Tour of Australasia (female). Both boys and girls compete in the event.
The event is currently scheduled to take place every year until 2027. The current edition (2025) is being held at the Royal Fremantle Golf Club in Perth.
Minjee and Min Woo Lee are two of the top professional golf stars Perth has produced. Both started their careers at the Royal Fremantle Golf Club, where they are now ambassadors.
