The FedExCup playoff series concluded with the Tour Championship and Scottie Scheffler won the title. Following this, the FedEx fall series now begins with the Procore Championship in Napa. The series will host eight events and will conclude with The RSM Classic in November.

Before the FedEx fall season tees off, the PGA Tour shared a post on X regarding the perks and exemptions on offer for 2025. According to the post, the top 50 players who qualified for the BMW Championship are fully exempt from the 2025 PGA Tour events, including eight signature events. This means golfers like Scottie Scheffler (FedEx ranking 1), Rory McIlroy (FedEx ranking 9), Viktor Hovland (FedEx ranking 12), and more have confirmed their spot for all the 2025 PGA events.

The next clause says that golfers from number 51 to number 70 on the FedEx standings, before the FedEx fall season, are exempted from the full-field PGA events and the Players Championship in 2025. This includes golfers like Mackenzie Hughes (rank 51), Harris English (rank 54), and Nick Taylor (rank 55), among others.

Once the eight FedEx fall tournaments conclude, golfers from rank 51 to 60 will qualify to seal their seats for the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and the Genesis Invitational.

Then, the top 125 players in the FedEx standings, through the FedEx fall week, will get to play at the PGA full-field events and the Players Championship.

Lastly, the FedEx fall winners of the events will bag a two-year exemption at the PGA Tour, along with 500 FedEx points, OWGR points, invitations to events like the Sentry, the Players, and major championships that allow PGA Tour winners.

This week, the FedEx fall season starts with the Procore Championship.

Which events will take place during the FedEx fall season?

There will be eight FedEx fall season events, the first of which is the Procore Championship at Silverado Resort from September 12 to 15. This event had a prize pool of $8.4 million in 2023 but the purse has dropped to $6 million in 2024.

The second fall season event, the Sanderson Farms Championship, will take place from October 3 to 6 at the Country Club of Jackson, Mississippi. The third event, the Black Desert Championship, will be played at the Black Desert Resort Golf Course from October 10 to 13.

The fourth fall season event is the Shriners Children's Open scheduled from October 17 to 20 at the TPC Summerlin. The fifth event is the Zozo Championship which will be played from October 24 to 27 at the Accordia Golf Narashino Country Club.

The sixth, seventh, and eighth events are the World Wide Technology Championship (November 7-10), the Butterfield Bermuda Championship (November 14-17), and the RSM Classic (November 21-24).
