Xander Schauffele confirmed for TGL’s first round alongside Rickie Fowler on Tuesday

Xander Schauffele and Rickie Fowler are confirmed to be present for the opening round of TGL. The Golf League posted the news on X on January 3.

Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy's Golf League begins on January 7 at the SoFi Center in Florida. The first round will feature a match between the New York Golf Club and the Bay Golf Club.

The teams are scheduled to lock horns from 9 p.m. EST on Tuesday. The Golf League confirmed the news on X. With Xander Schauffele on the roster, TGL captioned:

"Lineups are set, we're ready to go. Tuesday 9pm ET on @ESPN"

Schauffele will tee off alongside Rickie Fowler on January 7 at the SoFi Center. Apart from Fowler and Schauffele, Matt Fitzpatrick is also a part of the New York Golf Club.
