The Puerto Rico Open 2025 is scheduled to take place from March 6 to 9 at the Grand Reserve Country Club in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. The 2025 event has 132 golfers playing for a $4 million purse. Aside from the prize money, the winner receives 24 world ranking (Official World Golf Rankings) points and 300 FedEx Cup points.

The Puerto Rico Open is almost 70 years old, having started in 1956. It was revived on the PGA Tour in 2008 to serve as an alternate event to the WGC-Cadillac Championship and, subsequently, the WGC-Dell Match Play. After being established in 1956, it was discontinued in 1967 due to sponsor and scheduling issues. It was later briefly revived for two years in 2004 and 2005 on the Tour de las Américas.
