The 2024 Tour Championship is slated for August 28–September 1, with a $25 million prize pool from a $100 million purse awarded to the winner. It's almost forty years old, but in 2007, it changed to become a FedEx Cup playoff event; earlier, it was a regular PGA Tour event known as the "Nabisco Championship."
Held annually, the Tour Championship is the last FedEx Cup playoff tournament, following the FedEx St. Jude Championship and BMW Championship. The championship has been hosted since 2005 at the East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia, and its field consists of golfers among the top 30 players on the FedEx Cup points list.
