The 2024 BMW PGA Championship will begin this week at the Wentworth Golf Club in London. This is one of the most popular and prestigious events on the DP World Tour, with plenty of prominent names in the field. The tournament also features celebrities in the 9-hole celeb pro-am event on Wednesday, before the start of the tournament.

This week's prominent names in the field are mostly from Europe as the star golfers from the United States are preparing for the Presidents Cup, which begins next week at Royal Montreal Golf Club. Rory McIlroy, Shane Lowry, Billy Horschel, Adam Scott, Tommy Fleetwood, and Justin Rose are some of the star attractions this week in the 2024 BMW PGA Championship.

The defending champion, Ryan Fox, is also in the field and will look to defend his title and win the BMW PGA Championship for the second time.

The 2024 BMW PGA Championship winner will receive $1.62 million from the total prize money purse of $9 million. The champion golfer in London will also receive 8000 Race to Dubai points and 2000 Ryder Cup points.
