There are quite a few ways to become a millionaire in GTA Online, but achieving this goal can take time. Most of these methods will require making an initial investment, which can be quite hefty. However, Rockstar Games has also added some money-making ways that can even be utilized by beginners, the most recent of which debuted just a few months ago from the time of writing.
Additionally, how in-game cash is spent at the beginning of one's journey also determines how quickly one hits the million dollar mark. So, let's look at 10 tips to help you become a millionaire in GTA Online.

1) Find collectibles

There are various types of collectibles in GTA Online such as Action Figures, Signal Jammers, LD Organics Product, Weapon Components, and more. Collecting them rewards you with some cash per item and a decent bonus is also paid for getting them all.
These alone won't make you a millionaire, but they are a good step towards becoming one for those with nothing to invest in businesses or heist requirements.
2) Grind the Cluckin Bell Farm Raid
The Clukin Bell Farm Raid debuted in GTA Online in March 2024 and is the newest heist as of this writing. It pays $500,000 per completion and doesn't require any prior investments.
3) Buy the Kosatka submarine
Those with a few million in their Maze Bank Account should go and meet Miguel Madrazo at the Music Locker and then buy the $2,200,000 Kosatka submarine to unlock The Cayo Perico Heist.
Most of its target payouts have been reduced by Rockstar, Games but there are still some that can result in million dollar payouts.
4) Play the Diamond Casino Heist as a duo
The Diamond Casino Heist can also pay quite well, but it cannot be done solo like the Cluckin Bell Farm Raid and The Cayo Perico Heist. Its final payout will be divided between all participants, so, play it in a duo to earn a better cut.
5) Always sell Salve Yard Robbery vehicles
The Salvage Yard Robbery business makes three vehicle robberies available every week. Upon completing each, you will get the option to either sell or salvage the car for parts. Both options pay well, but the former is usually higher.
Note that the collective payout of all three vehicle robberies will be very close to a million dollars. So, you can easily become a millionaire in GTA Online by grinding this job in combination with a few other entries on this list.
6) Right combination of businesses
There are many businesses in GTA Online, and a brand new one was added with the Bottom Dollar Bounties update. However, you do not need to own all of them, and instead, should look to get the ones that are easy to run and pay well, such as the Nightclub, Acid Lab, Bunker, and Auto Shop.
7) Grind the VIP Contract
The Celebrity Solutions Agency is another useful business and it features a VIP Contract that includes some story missions. It will take some time to beat, but pays a million dollars upon completion every time.
8) Grind Junk Energy Time Trials
A Junk Energy Time Trial involves using a bicycle to reach the finish line within the time limit. It can be done once per day and pays $50,000 for succesfull competion.
It goes without that it alone won't make you a millionaire in GTA Online, but it is an easy method to contribute towards the overall goal.
9) Keep note of weekly update bonuses
A GTA Online weekly update is released every Thursday and it typically increases the payout of certain jobs. This can include businesses as well as Contact Missions, and grinding them with an active bonus can be really beneficial.
Properties can also get discounted during weekly updates, so, also keep note of that to get the best deals and save cash.
