The second weekly event of 2025 is live in GTA Online this week, featuring plenty of in-game cars players can buy. While no new vehicle has been added to Los Santos this time, up to 50% discounts can be claimed on select rides. From luxury SUVs to an electric vehicle, there’s something for everyone, making it the perfect time to invest in new automobiles.

However, it’s easy to get lost seeing so many options to choose from. Here's a quick look at five of the best cars in GTA Online this week gamers must check out before 2 am PT, January 16, 2025.

1) Pegassi Reaper

Supercars have a special place in the hearts of players, and there’s one featured in GTA Online this week — the Pegassi Reaper. Inspired by the real-life W Motors Lykan HyperSport and some Lamborghini models, the vehicle debuted in 2016 with the Further Adventures in Finance and Felony update.

Apart from having an exotic look, the Reaper possesses incredible power under the hood. Powered by a single-cam V8 engine, it can reach a top speed of 121.75 mph (195.94 km/h) and complete a lap in 1:02.716. 2) Penaud La Coureuse

When it comes to electric vehicles, there are numerous choices in the popular multiplayer title. However, one of them stands out from the rest — the Penaud La Coureuse. Debuting in 2023 with the infamous San Andreas Mercenaries DLC update, the two-seater electric compact hatchback seemingly took inspiration from the real-life 2022 Renault R5 Turbo 3E.

Unlike another popular electric vehicle Ocelot Virtue, the La Coureuse can reach a maximum speed of 142.50 mph (229.33 km/h) with HSW Performance Upgrades. The sheer performance combined with the Imani-tech compatibility makes it one of the best cars in GTA Online that one should buy.

3) Walton L35

The Declasse Walton L35 is an off-road pick-up truck that also debuted in 2023 as part of the San Andreas Mercenaries DLC. The old-school-looking vehicle is based on the 1991-1993 Chevrolet S-10.

The Walton L35 often gets overlooked due to the availability of other off-road vehicles like Draugur and Kamacho.
