5 of the best GTA Online Summer DLCs so far, ranked

Rockstar Games has been releasing GTA Online Summer DLCs since 2014, and it has released 16 major summer updates till June 2023. The next Summer DLC 2024 is on the horizon and the player base is eagerly waiting for it, similar to the previous ones. However, a significant portion of the current player base doesn’t know about the previous updates as they were not active back then.

This article lists and ranks five of the best GTA Online Summer DLCs that Rockstar Games has released in the multiplayer game so far.

5) Further Adventures in Finance and Felony - June 7, 2016

While Rockstar Games had released many GTA Online Summer DLC updates before this one, Further Adventures in Finance and Felony introduced the ability to become VIP/CEOs in the game. It is still one of the most important features in present times.

The update also introduced Executive Offices and Warehouses, which gave the game a kind of civilized form factor. Before this, most players used to make money by thuggery and stealing.

4) The Criminal Enterprises - July 26, 2022

The Criminal Enterprises update can be termed one of the smallest GTA Online Summer DLCs in modern times. However, it brought one of the major improvements in the multiplayer game that changed the course of the gameplay.

Rockstar Games allowed players to access and operate all kinds of businesses in private sessions. Before this, you could access them in public lobbies only. The same GTA Online Summer DLC also made snacks and body armor easily accessible from the weapon wheel.

3) Gunrunning - June 13, 2017

The Grand Theft Auto Online: Gunrunning DLC introduced two major things to the multiplayer game: The Bunker and weaponized vehicles. While the latter is a debatable topic, the Bunker is undoubtedly one of the best businesses in GTA Online for all players.

This GTA Online Summer DLC also added popular vehicles such as the Mobile Operations Center, Pegassi Oppressor, HVY Insurgent Pick-Up Custom, HVY Nightshark, and many more. The Gunrunning DLC is still an impactful update as it introduced Mk II weapons, which are very important to survive in the modern period.

2) Los Santos Tuners - July 20, 2021

The Los Santos Tuners was one of the most loved GTA Online Summer DLCs by vehicle enthusiasts. It introduced the tuner cars, tuning modifications, Los Santos Car Meet, and many other vehicle-related features. It was the first update that introduced drifting before the addition of Drift Tuning cars in GTA Online.

Apart from that, it also introduced the Auto Shop business that unlocked multiple money-making methods in the multiplayer game. The content added with this GTA Online Summer DLC is still useful and loved by the fans.

1) After Hours - July 24th, 2018

The After Hours DLC is one of the major updates in Grand Theft Auto Online that introduced many important things to the game. The main highlight of this GTA Online Summer DLC is the Nightclub, which has become one of the must-have businesses for all players.

Rockstar Games also introduced Tony Prince, Lazlow Jones, English Dave, and many other prominent characters with this update. The Nightclub is one of the best businesses for making money in GTA Online. Therefore, the Summer update of 2018 is still loved by the grinders.
