1) New girlfriends in San Andreas

Carl “CJ” Johnson in Grand Theft Auto San Andreas can currently date up to six girlfriends. However, the new GTA leaks of December 25, 2024, disclosed that Rockstar Games had planned to add six more girlfriends to the game. They are as follows:

  • Mile-High Millie: Air hostess
  • Kylie Goodpoke: The Gun Nut
  • Coochie Robinson: The Gangbanger
  • Bobbi La Queef: The Cheerleader
  • Suzi Nookie: Rubber Nurse
  • Honey-G: Superstar

These scrapped girlfriends were subject to be found in various locations across the State of San Andreas (3D Universe). They were also planned to have different bonuses and fetishes.

2) Gang territory system

While the gang territory system debuted in Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, Rockstar Games had initially planned it for the scrapped Grand Theft Auto 3 Online version. The leaked GTA documents disclosed the following factions or gangs for the multiplayer version of the 2001 title: Police, Mob, Mafia, Yakuza, Dogheart Massive, and Bikers.

According to the new GTA leaks, Rockstar Games had planned unique meeting locations for each of the factions. There was also a reputation system associated with the gangs. However, these features never saw the light of the day.

3) Plans for online communication

The voice and text chat features were properly introduced in the HD Universe of the Grand Theft Auto series. However, the new GTA leaks disclosed that these features were initially planned to be included in Grand Theft Auto 3’s multiplayer version. It is worth noting that lots of the features that are currently standard in GTA Online were planned back in the early 2000s.

The GTA documents incident shed light on these things, surprising the player base. While Grand Theft Auto 3 was revolutionary in itself, having the multiplayer version would have worked as the icing on the cake. Unfortunately, that did not happen due to the limitations.

4) Player skill system

The new GTA leaks also disclosed that Rockstar Games had planned for a player skill system in Grand Theft Auto 3 Online. The system included various interesting features such as hacking, chemistry, charisma, intelligence, strength, and others. Unfortunately, we don’t have much information about them except for the names.

However, Rockstar Games should have included them in the later GTA games. While Grand Theft Auto San Andreas and Grand Theft Auto 5 have some skills for the characters, they are mostly related to strength, weapons, and vehicles.

5) Bully’s inception

While Rockstar’s Bully has been out for 18 years, fans got to know about the behind-the-scene things for the first time in December 2023, when the studio faced another leak. However, after the new GTA leaks, the player base got to know about Bully’s inception.

Obbe Vermeij, who was the former Technical Director at Rockstar Games, stated that the GTA Online 2001 project was discussed thoroughly inside the studio and developers at Rockstar Vancouver were asked to make a plan for it. However, later it was scrapped and the Vancouver studio was asked to work on Bully instead.
