Missions in GTA Online can vary from adrenaline-pumping to incredibly monotonous and boring. Unsurprisingly, the game has its fair share of the latter, leaving players wondering why Rockstar Games decided to add them at all. Now, there are a couple of exceptions that allow newcomers to raise their XP levels.
Below, we have prepared a list of five missions in the online multiplayer mode that are either boring or just too insignificant.

5 boring missions in GTA Online that simply don't cut it for most players
1) Dropping fliers for the Nightclub
The Nightclub is one of the most important businesses in GTA Online. However, you must do a series of missions to keep it profitable. Dropping fliers throughout the city via a helicopter is one such that you must constantly keep doing when your establishment's popularity takes a dip.
However, it is one of the most monotonous missions in GTA Online as it offers no real threat and is quite boring. Thanks to the numerous times that you must complete it, the task becomes mundane and starts feeling like a chore. Thankfully, completing it in the private lobby removes the danger of other players shooting you down.
2) Delivery missions to Cayo Perico island
While the recently added GTA Online Pizza Delivery mission is quite nostalgic and fun to complete, the requests from English Dave are outrageous and make up for some of the most boring GTA Online missions ever. Dave will call you several times, asking you to deliver clothing and pizza to the Cayo Perico island.
The missions are bland and offer insignificant monetary rewards. Most players ignore Dave's calls after completing the first couple of jobs because of how absurd they are. While completing all these delivery missions gives you a free car, it is not worth going through the agony.
3) Jailbreak
Jailbreak is an MC Contract mission where you are tasked with hijacking a prison van and delivering the criminals to the specified location. However, the task is absolutely boring and feels like a chore once you start it. The horrendous bus speed and handling alongside the cop chase make things even worse.
While players somehow manage to drive on the straight roads, tackling uphill climbs is a nightmare with the vehicle. Overall, it is easily one of the most boring missions in GTA Online, one that could have been much more interesting if Rockstar Games added more flare and sub-tasks to it.
4) Dispatch Works
While everyone was very excited about the newly added Dispatch Work missions in GTA Online, the tasks fell short and quickly became repetitive and boring. While the idea of owning and legally using police vehicles is quite awesome, the monotonous nature of the mission makes it bland and uninteresting after a while.
It is fun to receive jobs from Vincent and hunt down the criminals as a vigilante in Los Santos. However, it would have been much more interesting if the targets stayed different and the overall task had variations. The lack of these things makes Dispatch Work one of the most uninteresting missions in GTA Online.
5) Sightseer
Sightseer is a VIP/CEO work mission that you can start. As soon as you do so, the game will start a timer and drop packages all around the map for you to collect. While this sounds neat and handy on paper, it is a nightmare due to the game dropping the packages at faraway places.
This can still be managed by taking shortcuts and using fast cars in GTA Online. However, Rockstar Games decides to drop the packages next to military bases or in the ocean, making them almost impossible to recover. This makes it one of the most hated as well as the most tedious missions in GTA Online.
