GTA 6 is taking players back to Vice City, as the game incorporates the entire state of Leonida, and it's bound to have certain GTA Vice City vehicles return. Rockstar released the first trailer for the game in December 2023, and fans have spotted several details in it since then. This includes a list of returning vehicles from the Grand Theft Auto series.
Now, although these all belong to the HD Universe, many of these models existed in the 3D Universe games as well, like Grand Theft Auto Vice City. So here's a list of some GTA Vice City vehicles that you can expect to see in Grand Theft Auto 6.
Note: The vehicles on this list are based on the first GTA 6 trailer, and these vehicles may not appear in the game.
5 GTA Vice City vehicles you can expect to see in GTA 6
1) Bravado Banshee
The Banshee is probably the most easily recognizable Grand Theft Auto car, and it was even replicated in real life. The Banshee is usually based on various Dodge Viper models, but the Vice City variant is a bit different, like most other GTA Vice City vehicles. This one resembles a Corvette C4 from the 80s, as the game is set in 1986.
Now, the Banshee spotted in the GTA 6 trailer isn't the one from Vice City, but the vehicle itself is still the same.
2) Dinka Blista Compact
The Blista Compact might be a small, unassuming, civilian car, but it's one of the most memorable GTA Vice City vehicles. This is because it's based on the first-gen Honda CR-X, a car that is synonymous with the 80s. The HD Universe variant of this car, which is set to return in GTA 6, is also based on the CR-X. However, this variant has more similarities to the second-gen variant, which was made between the late 80s and early 90s.
3) Grotti Cheetah Classic
While the Cheetah Classic itself is a unique vehicle that only appears in Grand Theft Auto Online, the car it's based on is one of the most iconic GTA Vice City vehicles. It is the "Cheetah" as it appears in Vice City and Vice City Stories, which is based on the Ferrari Testarossa, an iconic sports car from the 80s. It's also considered the best-handling car in the game.
The regular HD Universe Cheetah, on the other hand, is based on the Ferrari Enzo and the Pagani Zonda. The classic variant of the Cheetah was seen in the GTA 6 trailer, as someone parks and exits it in front of the neon-lit streets of what appears to be Ocean Drive.
4) Declasse Sabre Turbo
The Sabre Turbo is possibly best known for being one of the original GTA Vice City vehicles. It was based on a 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle and a 1968-72 Oldsmobile Cutlass and surprisingly, the Grand Theft Auto V rendition of the car is based on the same cars. As such, both the 3D Universe and HD Universe versions of the Sabre Turbo look quite similar.
Much like the Cheetah Classic, the HD Universe Sabre Turbo is an intentional homage to the Vice City vehicle, and it's also expected to return in GTA 6.

5) Maibatsu Sanchez
The Sanchez is almost as synonymous with Grand Theft Auto as the Banshee, as it has appeared in every game since Vice City. As such, this is one of the original GTA Vice City vehicles that is set to return in GTA 6. The Sanchez in Vice City and Vice City Stories is possibly based on the Honda CRM 250 and the Yamaha DT 200 from the 80s.
On the other hand, the Sanchez we'll get to see in Grand Theft Auto 6 will probably be the same as the one seen in the last game, which is based on several 2000s dirtbikes like the Yamaha YZ450F, the Honda CRF450X, and more.
