The Pfister Comet cars are notorious for having loose handling at the back. While the cars usually have great looks and customization op, many players avoid them because of the handling issue. However, the Pfister Comet SR is one of the best cars to drive in GTA Online free-roam.

If you tune the Pfister Comet SR properly while aftermarket customization, it offers excellent traction and a noticeable acceleration boost. The car does not slide off randomly and offers great handling.

Despite having good performance stats, the Pfister Comet SR disappeared from the in-game stores after the Grand Theft Auto Online: San Andreas Mercenaries DLC. Rockstar Games stated that it was one of the “lesser used cars” by the player base.

Although Rockstar Games added the Comet SR to the removed cars list in GTA Online, players who already owned it continue to drive and admire it to date. The original Comet and the Comet SR are the only two removed cars from the Pfister Comet category.

4) It has returned for a limited time with a discounted rate

While the removal of the Pfister Comet SR was a little upsetting, Rockstar Games has returned it to the multiplayer game for a limited time. After the most recent GTA Online weekly update, you can find this car inside the Los Santos Car Meet in the Test Track section.

From there, you can directly buy the Pfister Comet SR at a 40% discount. The vehicle originally cost $1,145,000 with no trade price. However, now you can buy it for cheaper and use the remaining money during upgrades. The offer is only available till June 19, 2024.

Other than that, you can choose from seven bumpers, three chassis, five exhaust pipe designs, two fenders, three hoods, nine spoilers, and many other options. These make the Comet SR one of the most fun-to-drive cars in GTA Online.
