5 features GTA 6 Online's Character Creation should have

While Rockstar Games has yet to reveal details on Grand Theft Auto 6, fans are already discussing GTA 6 Online. The notorious leaks of September 2022 showed that the studio is working on a multiplayer mode with newer features than Grand Theft Auto 5 Online. The first official trailer didn't include anything about the new online game, but fans are optimistic.

We list five features Rockstar Games should incorporate in the Character Creation Tool in GTA 6 Online.

5 features that should be included in the GTA 6 Online Character Creator

1) Various body types

While fans want to see many new features in GTA 6 Online, having various body types is arguably one of the most requested. In Grand Theft Auto 5 Online, all the protagonists have the same body type due to the common hitbox design Rockstar incorporated into the game. While there are NPCs of various heights, shapes, and sizes, the characters are all the same from within.

Therefore, the upcoming online game should let players choose from various bodies. Rockstar should also add different hitboxes for all of them.

2) Dynamic hair growth

The first trailer showed various types of hair in the Grand Theft Auto 6 gameplay. Even though this option is also available in the current multiplayer game, GTA 6 Online should add dynamic growth as a new feature. The players' hair should gradually grow, allowing them to cut or create many unique designs.

Since Red Dead Redemption 2 already has the dynamic hair growth feature, Rockstar Games could easily import it to GTA 6 Online’s Character Creator tool. It can also be introduced as an optional feature, giving players more control over their character.

3) Ability to create multiple characters

As of now, you can only create and store up to two different characters in Grand Theft Auto Online. Rockstar Games compels you to edit the GTA Online characters if you need any new changes. However, the upcoming game should increase the slot numbers and allow players to store more playable characters.

Online multiplayer games are dynamic and players can get bored with their characters pretty soon. While clothes and tattoos help to redesign the aesthetics, obtaining a new character adds charm to the gameplay experience. Hence, GTA 6 Online’s Character Creator should have more storage slots.

4) Option to import previous stats

The Grand Theft Auto community has a mixed opinion on whether GTA 6 Online should support GTA 5 Online’s progression. However, since veteran players have been playing the current game for over a decade, they lean toward a progression import.

Rockstar Games should give the players a choice on whether or not to import their progress from Grand Theft Auto Online at the very beginning of GTA 6 Online. The Character Creator tool is the perfect spot to add this feature as it is the first thing players will see while joining the multiplayer mode.

The lack of character voice is one of the biggest issues in Grand Theft Auto 5 Online that GTA 6 Online should fix. Rockstar Games should add some basic dialogs and greeting messages so that the characters don’t look dumb when NPCs interact with them.

The Character Creator tool should have the option to turn on dialogs for the Grand Theft Auto 6 Online characters. Having a few different voice models will add the charm.
