Since 2013, Rockstar Games has released over 700 cars in GTA Online, and more are expected to be included in the upcoming DLC. There is no doubt that the car catalog of the multiplayer game is huge. As a result, the player base tends to forget various cars with time. The gaming studio also removed nearly 200 vehicles in June 2023, adding to this aspect.

Recently, a Redditor named u/DrainedToDeath asked the community about the forgotten cars in GTA Online. While they mentioned the Grotti X80 Proto, here are four other notable cars mentioned by fans.

The Grotti X80 Proto is arguably one of the craziest vehicles in GTA Online due to its looks. It is a supercar with a unique shape that cannot be described in simple terms. Rockstar Games introduced it in June 2016 with the Further Adventures in Finance and Felony DLC. But, as of 2024, you can barely see the car on the streets.

The Grotti X80 Proto is still available for purchase from the Legendary Motorsport website. It is the 11th fastest supercar in the multiplayer game. However, the player base seems to overlook it due to the high price tag and peculiar looks.

2) Grotti Turismo R

According to Redditor u/Objective-Dig-8466, the player base has forgotten about the Grotti Turismo R. It is one of the best free-roam cars in GTA Online that is available for free for GTA 5 Premium Edition players.

The Grotti Turismo R is a stylish aerodynamic car with decent top speed and good handling. However, the GTA Online player base seems to have forgotten about this 2014 car as there are many other options available now.

3) Pegassi Zentorno

According to Reddito u/Ralome, they still drive the Pegassi Zentorno while most of the players have forgotten about it. It is one of the best supercars that you can get at a low cost. Rockstar Games charges only $725,000 for the vehicle and offers great style, customization, and top speeds.

While the current GTA Online player base has forgotten about the Pegassi Zentorno, Rockstar Games has listed it as one of the returning cars in Grand Theft Auto 6. You can also find the car in GTA 5 Story Mode.

4) Truffade Z-Type

Similar to the Grotti X80 Proto, the Truffade Z-Type is also one of the most unique-looking cars in GTA Online. However, Reddior u/Thin_Refrigerator100 stated that it became a forgotten car in the multiplayer game.

The Truffade Z-Type is one of the most expensive vehicles in Grand Theft Auto 5 Story Mode with a price tag of $10,000,000. However, it cost only $950,000 in the multiplayer game. But, Rockstar Games added the Z-Type to the removed car list in GTA Online in June 2023. The player base has also forgotten about the car since it is no longer visible on the streets.

5) Grotti Carbonizzare

According to Redditor u/torschlusspanik17, while the Grotti Carbonizzare is one of the best vehicles to drive in the game, it is now a forgotten car. It is a free car that you can steal from the streets. The Carbonizzare has been a part of the multiplayer game since day one. But, Rockstar Games removed it from the in-game stores last year.

There are many interesting facts about the Grotti Carbonizzare that make it an iconic car in GTA Online. Fortunately, it will be returning in GTA 6.
