GTA 6's Vice City setting has excited both long-time fans of the franchise and newer players alike. The location was first introduced in 2002 and brought back in a new flavor in 2006. However, there were some similarities in both these instances. Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Vice City Stories are set in the 80s, and the map is quite tiny, especially compared to Grand Theft Auto 5 and San Andreas.

Meanwhile, Grand Theft Auto 6, as confirmed by the trailer, is set in the modern day, and the map seems to be massive. Such a huge map would be made much more entertaining with activities in it.

With that in mind, here are five fun activities that would be perfectly suited for GTA 6's Vice City location.

Best activities suited to GTA 6's Vice City map

1) Golf

Golf was implemented as a proper sport for the first time in Grand Theft Auto 5, with the Los Santos Golf Club being a proper usable golf course.

Now, although Vice City's Leaf Links was the first golf course introduced in the series, it wasn't initially usable. Veteran fans of the series will remember that there was a short minigame in Vice City Stories that allowed you to play the sport in a limited manner.

GTA 6's Vice City will be set in the HD Universe, and the map seems absolutely massive. As such, Leaf Links, or a similar golf club based on a real-life one in Miami, should be made available.

2) Gator Hunting

As seen in the Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer, there seems to be a marshy area in the upcoming game that's based on Florida's Everglades. Florida is notorious for alligators, and some of them were even featured in the trailer itself.

Now, one unique activity that Rockstar can introduce in the upcoming game would be gator hunting in the Everglades-like region.

3) Airboat racing

Another interesting addition that would fit perfectly in GTA 6's Vice City map would be airboat racing. The scene in the trailer that showcased the Everglades-like marshy region in Leonida also featured an airboat. This new type of vehicle, used to traverse marshes, was spotted in the 2022 leaks as well.

There could even be airboat tours like in real-life Florida, which would be a decent alternative to the bus tours in Los Santos.

4) Surfing

GTA 6's Vice City map boasts a beautiful coastline, as evidenced by the 30-second teaser. As such, Rockstar could make use of a new surfing activity that takes advantage of this coastline.

Surfing has never been introduced as a sport in the Grand Theft Auto series, so this would make for a nice change of pace. This would also give the developer an excuse to add customizable surfboards as a new type of purchasable accessory.

5) Skateboarding

Since we're discussing surfing as an activity in the upcoming Grand Theft Auto game, the perfect addition to go along with it would be skating.

Rockstar had already planned to implement this feature once, back in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. The beta version of the title had a skateboard as a tool that could be used for traversal, and the game even has skate parks in various parts of the map.

Rockstar removed the skateboard from Grand Theft Auto 4, where it was supposed to be used by a pedestrian. So, GTA 6's Vice City map would be the perfect opportunity to introduce skateboards for the first time in the Grand Theft Auto series.
